If bad breath is a continuous condition that you face:
First, you’ll want to see your doctor and/or dentist to try to determine the cause. Once you’re able to treat the cause, the bad breath will be eliminated. Some of the causes are nothing more than related to things you’re eating. Other causes include dental infections and side effects from medication you’re taking.
As you go through the healing process, you can take herbs to help with the odor and to kill any bacteria that may cause the bad breath. Here are some that work.
-
When you find a sprig of fresh parsley on your plate at a restaurant, don’t ignore it. Wait until your meal is done and then chew it. The chlorophyll content is responsible for getting rid of odors.
-
Alfalfa is another herb that can help mask the odors and is rich in chlorophyll. As an extra bonus it is also rich in vitamins and minerals. Just make a tea .
Another great way to avoid bad breath with herbs is to chew on fresh peppermint sprigs. This is much healthier for you than peppermint candy which is loaded with sugar or artificial sweetener!
